Helping Hands Tech Services is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Organization recognized by the Secretary of State (SOS Entity Number: C3804403) and by the IRS as a Charitable Organization (IRS Tax ID Number: 47-4554322).
We provide services to the South Placer and Northern Sacramento Regions. We offer low-income qualified pricing through our "Reduce Rate" Program, as well as services for the public through our "Recommended Donation" Program.
Most prices are not listed on our website due to the "Reduced Rate" Program and the changing needs of the community and our organization. We do promise to be lower than any computer repair in the area and all your contributions to us are TAX DEDUCTIBLE!
With that said, to qualify for the "Reduced Rate" Program, you must complete paperwork, which will soon be available on our website. If you do not qualify, you can always utilize our "Recommended Donation" Program which requires no Paperwork.
We started as Tech Savvy DOCs in 2009
We originally began as Tech Savvy Docs in 2009 started by Christopher Merrill, who currently is our Executive Director. Christopher successfully ran Tech Savvy DOCs until 2015 when he decided to convert to a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Company.
Having come from a lower income family and understanding the significance of technology in our day and age, he wanted to ensure that everyone be able to receive affordable services. So Helping Hands Tech Services was started.
